December 2011

Dear Friend,

We have arrived at the end of another year. For some it has been a year full of excitement, changes, and challenges. For others it has been a year of difficulties and unexpected twists. No matter where this year finds us, we all could use a place to be refreshed, renewed, and revived spiritually as well as emotionally. Welcome to ARCWomen, where you will find Community in Christ. It’s our great desire that every woman who walks through the doors of Autumn Ridge Church quickly discovers a place to connect through one of our many ministries directed specifically at women’s needs.

Starting the week of January 8, 2012, the women's programs will begin to help us traverse a new year with new challenges. Some ministries will continue with studies from the fall semester and others, like Women's Bible Study, will begin a fresh topic and series. Most ministries welcome you to join at anytime. All series and contact information can be accessed through the website. Won't you take some time to browse and find a place to connect with other women?

Also the winter release of ARCLines, our women’s magazine, will be available after the services on January 7-8 and at the Information LINK in the church lobby throughout the winter semster. This will provide you with a hard copy of program options and encouraging articles written by Autumn Ridge women. This issue’s focus is "Trust & Surrender."

Our winter programs include large group Bible studies with small group breakouts while others present DVD formats or inductive, personal study.  Some are geared towards women in specific situations – single mothers, women needing healing or support, or recovery. Groups like MOPS bring young mothers together for a joyful time of encouragement. And our annual Devoted Hearts Conference  which will take place April 20-21, 2012, offers a time of praise and biblical teaching to over a thousand women. If you have questions about any of our ministries, please email us at women[at]autumnridgechurch.org. We would love to help you find a place to belong.

The New Year often brings with it new resolutions. This year resolve to meet more women, grow in your biblical knowledge, and discover more of the hope of Jesus Christ. It is in him, we find an accepting, forgiving, and loving community. "For in him we live and move and have our being." (Acts17:28) Welcome to our community – we're glad you’re here!

Warmly,

 The Women’s Leadership Team
