Autumn Ridge provides a unique opportunity for you and your family to get to know others from Autumn Ridge in the beautiful setting at Fort Wilderness. It is a great week of fun, friends and food; sharing meals, talking over a cup of coffee or tea, playing games or sitting around a campfire are some of the great ways to get to know people from Autumn Ridge Church. Fort Wilderness is located in the pristine woods and lakes of Northeastern Wisconsin and we have exclusive use of the camp for the week with room for about 270 people.
A typical day includes a continental breakfast, morning worship/teaching time (children’s and youth ministry are provided by camp staff), leisure lunch and open afternoons. Supper is good food with good company (and no dishes to wash!). Evenings have a mix of activities you can participate in: large group games (which are really fun), campfires, board games, or star gazing on the dock.
There are things to do for everyone. Sail on the lake. Take a nap. Kneeboard. Tube down the river. Swing off the Bipod. Bike the trails (watch out for the horse droppings!) or the area bike routes. Take a class with “Nature Man”. Compete in the archery tournament (be Robin Hood and win a premium ice-cream cone!). Try out the .22 rifle range. Join in on an afternoon of paintball. The list goes on…

Our speaker this year is Dr. George Kenworthy. Dr. George Kenworthy serves as President and CEO of Reconciliation Associates in Hamel, MN. He is also a permanent Old Testament adjunct instructor at Bethel Seminary, MN. Dr. Kenworthy holds a master's in divinity and theology and a doctorate in ministry. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Trinity International University (1981–87, 1998–2001) and the board of the Minnesota branch of Athletes in Action. He is an annual speaker at the EFCA Missions Candidate School and Teen Challenge. He and his wife, Joan, have three children, who with their families are Christian workers in limited access countries.
Housing options are hotel rooms, cabins, RV sites with full hookups, and camp sites. If you would like to share a cabin with another family, both families will receive a 15% discount off their registration fee. Costs for the week are very reasonable and include all activities except horse rides and supply costs for crafts and gun ranges.
Registration forms are available at the Ministry Center. You may also register online right now. You can also download the registration form, fill it out, and mail it into church.
