Synopsis of "The Choice"
During the rule of Tiberius Caesar in the seaside city of Capernaum, a young Roman centurion, Marcus, falls in love with a beautiful Jewish girl, Hannah. She is a follower of Jesus, the radical teacher from Nazareth. As Marcus becomes fatefully intertwined in the tumultuous events leading to the execution of Jesus, he weighs the words and example of Christ against the wealth and power of the world. In the balance hangs . . . The Choice.

The single most significant decision in any person’s life is the eternal choice each of us must make when we encounter the risen Christ. Sometimes the choice is not so easy.
Jesus, a penniless, itinerant prophet with a rag-tag band of misfit followers could hardly be considered a King. After all, why would any rational, ambitious person give credence to a preacher that began His sermons with, “Blessed are the poor”?
Still, for all its wealth and power, this world at its very best offers no cure for broken lives. Only those who come to the grace-full recognition that Jesus Christ is exactly who He says He is can discover that genuine riches and freedom come from a loving Savior, and not from earthly treasures.
The choice may not be easy, but the choice is inevitably clear.
