Membership at Autumn Ridge Church
ArchWays classes begin April 13/14, 2013
Do you want to learn more about Autumn Ridge? Are you considering church membership? The Archways membership class series is a great opportunity to learn about the vision of Autumn Ridge and discover ways that you can connect in community and service.
On each of the four weekends, the class will be offered at three different times:
Saturday ~ 7 pm - Sunday ~ 9:30 am and 10:30 am in the Hyde Room.
You are free to attend different class times as needed to fit your schedule.

The Smallest Large Church in Town and Finding Your Place of Service
(The first Sunday morning class of Week 4 begins at 9 am instead of 9:30 am).
The need for spiritual birth
Realizing my guilt before God, I have confessed my sins to him, and received the Lord Jesus Christ who bore my sins on the cross, as my Savior.
Why can't I just attend, receive the good that God has for me, and not become formally involved as a member? What value is there in church membership?
These are honest questions which need to be answered. In fact, you may be considering these questions right now. If you are, there is valuable information in a brochure we can give to you, entitled, "How to Join Autumn Ridge Church"

Believer's Baptism
Every person who has trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior should be baptized.
Acts 2:41 "Those who believed and accepted His message were baptized..."
Acts 8:12 "But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women."
The one requirement that the Bible sets forth for baptism is belief in Jesus Christ. For this reason we wait until our children are old enough to believe and understand the meaning of baptism before we baptize them. If you are interested in further information about baptism, ask for a brochure entitled, "Believer's Baptism - What the Bible Says." At Autumn Ridge Church we hold baptismal services several times each year. How to Join Autumn Ridge Church
First, be certain you have fulfilled the two basic Biblical requirements for church membership: Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Believer's baptism. Then, let us know of your desire to make this church your place of fellowship and service. You can do this by communicating your interest on one of the message-to-staff cards found in the in the sanctuary, or by talking with a member of our church staff.
Next, attend the ArchWays class held twice a year so you will know more about our church. Following this, we ask that you meet with one of our Elders and a pastor to discuss your desire to join Autumn Ridge Church. Finally, be officially and warmly welcomed into the membership of our church family at one of our New Member Services.
