Being a Christian involves both a personal and transforming relationship with God and a public and transforming relationship with the world. God wants each of us to change our world by caring for disadvantaged and powerless people. When we love our neighbor as ourselves we experience the complete life and deep joy that Jesus offers us. A number of practical opportunities to care for the needy in Rochester and around the world are described.
