Student Leadership Opportunities and Expectations:

Cell Group Leaders and Apprentices: Cell group student leaders and apprentices are responsible for taking their co-ed group (app. 8-12 students) through weekly curriculum provided, share or delegate the sharing of the gospel each week, and contacting students within their group weekly to provide encouragement. This position works closely with the adult encourager in each group.

Student Group Leaders and Apprentices: Primarily directed by the adult encourager of each group, this leadership position is similar to cell group leader responsibilities. These groups are smaller in nature (app. 3-5) and same gender.

Student Activity Board: This leadership opportunity plans and implements 100% of the Student Ministry Core Pillar #1 – Building Community. This team devises plans for both social and spiritual community activities. They work together with an adult liaison in creating process maps to ensure the success of each event planned.

Ziba Team Ministry: This leadership team is created as a ministry opportunities arise to serve others. Examples of this ministry include: Teams who lead within a retreat or camp format, mission teams who invest in other student ministries, seminar hosts who lead breakout sessions at Student Conferences, and Disciple Now leadership teams.

Design Team: This team will create a design for each lesson or or unit in the form of banners, stage and set designs. The design team will also help in developing designs for special events.

Video Ministry: This leadership opportunity is created to utilize the many talents and skills our students have in the areas of movie and video making. They will created video trailers for weekly announcements and upcoming retreats or events.

Other Areas for Students to Serve:
